Learn FTP With Videos!
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol...it is a software program used to transfer files and pages from your computer to your hosting account. There seems to be a lot of confusion about how to use FTP. I hope to help you conquer this monster once and for all...just kidding...it just seems hard...perhaps it will help if you watch.
Quick Lesson: Site Rubix is a Website builder...it builds your website pages for you...built into it is an FTP program. All pages you build inside Site Rubix can be uploaded to your hosting account from Site Rubix, however if you have files and folders to upload that are not built in Site Rubix, such as PDF Documents, Word Documents, ect...these will need to be uploaded with a little program called Coreftp... The 1st video teaches how to set up FTP inside Site Rubix. The 2nd video teaches how to upload a PDF from your WA Hosting Account and link to it. The 3rd video teaches how to FTP with Coreftp. |
